Box premiered at the Dennos Museum Center's Millikin auditorium in March of 1994 as part of 'Inner Rooms', a collection of works by choreographers from Company Dance Traverse. My co-director and choreographer Paula Vinzi insisted on calling the piece 'Woman to Womyn' for the program, but I am reclaiming my original, subtle and decidedly more elegant title, Box. Inner Rooms was made possible with support from the Traverse Area Arts Council and the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs.

Artifacts from the production include the Inner Rooms poster, cast and credits, stills from a video tape of the March 26 and 27 performance, and the conceptual script.
