Giving massage provides direct experience with living anatomy. I have an unusual gift for finding injuries and taking away pain, and I would like to do more than handle the occasionally ache in the sculpture studio. Having a small group of trusting clients for maybe two sessions a week would allow me to get the hands on knowledge I crave without overwhelming my schedule. It's a job for craigslist I think.

To touch the structures I am learning to see, to move them and feel thier connections is extremely instructive. Combining touch with sight expands perception.

Moving my hands over someone, discovering the parts that want attention and then working on those parts is a fascinating and enigmatic experience. I do not know what I am doing, but the accuracy of my intuition is repeatedly confirmed. What exactly is it all about, what is the mechanism of this sense? Can it contribute to my understanding of anatomy? Does information that can only be gathered via touch have relevance to a painting? Further research is required.
