Dan Kelly / paintings / digital

My introduction to digital painting was with Carol Chiani and the Lumena System back in 1984. A few years later I bought a Macintosh IIx, quit my job as an evangelist and set sail for uncharted waters. My biography is a brief history of the ensuing art adventures.

So I've been at this on and off for about 15 years, which may account for the tendency to ramble on about things digital, like my definition of painting, the implications of uncollectable art and the digital sequence.

A selection of paintings from my
Ten Year Retrospective (1989 - 1999) illustrates the transformation of vision over time.
